PsyMontreal offers a structured internship experience, with the guidance you need to build your clinical skills and confidence. We welcome applicants based in Montreal, as well as students located in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Our office is located in the heart of downtown Montreal, right in the McGill REM and metro station building. For students located outside Montreal, supervision and appointments are conducted virtually.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"\"><span>A structured practicum placement supporting the training hours required by your program, with exposure to a diverse caseload of adult clients delivered in-person and\/or virtually depending on your location.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Support with case conceptualization, treatment planning, and documentation standards.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Regular, individualized virtual clinical supervision provided by licensed psychologists, including opportunities for peer consultation and free ongoing supervision.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Cases and Coffee: a monthly gathering (in-person for Montreal residents only) with other psychotherapists and psychologists to talk about cases and get to know one another.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Hands-on experience delivering cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and related evidence-based approaches.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><strong>Who We&#8217;re Looking For<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"\"><span>Currently enrolled in a master&#8217;s program in psychology.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Based in Montreal, Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Foundational clinical skills, particularly in CBT or related therapeutic approaches.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Comfort working in English (and French for Montreal students).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Access to a private, confidential space for virtual sessions if completing the practicum remotely.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Interested candidates are invited to send their resume, cover letter, and undergraduate as well as graduate transcripts to<a href=\"mailto:talent@psymontreal.com\" target=\"_blank\" data-pcloud-pass-id=\"mueon345eybwv3xv3f\">talent@psymontreal.com<\/a>.
