Although brainstorms are suppose\u00a0to\u00a0foster creativity and inspire productivity, they sometimes leave us feeling unsuccessful\u00a0and underwhelmed. In fact, often times our\u00a0best ideas come to us at the most random times : in the car, at the grocery store or even in the shower! However, at school or in a work setting, \u00a0these\u00a0<em>ah ha<\/em> moments seem to be few and far apart. Therefore, brainstorming sessions are planned under the premise\u00a0that two heads are better than one.<\/p>\n<p>While\u00a0many believe that organization and structure do not go hand in hand with creativity and innovation, it has been proven that adequate preparation and planning promote efficient brainstorming.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few tips &amp; tricks proposed by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ti.me\/1pIjHKB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TIME<\/a>\u00a0that got use excited about planning our next brainstorming session\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Transformation.<\/strong>\u00a0if possible, hold your brainstorm session away from your day to day office space .<\/li>\n<li><strong>Warm Up.<\/strong>\u00a0Break away from routine and get your creative juices flowing by starting the meeting off with a group game. This will foster a creative atmosphere and promote the flow of ideas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Write it down.<\/strong>\u00a0All attendees should have a pen and paper in hand.<br \/>\nTake it one step further : roll out a large piece of paper and use this as an idea board to write down everyone\\&#8217;s\u00a0thoughts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leave the rules behind<\/strong>. Mix and match directors and employees from different departments! You\\&#8217;ll be surprised by the results.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Continuity<\/strong>.
