Are you working toward your equivalency with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ)? Build the practice you want—without having to manage everything yourself. PsyMontreal combines clinical autonomy with referrals, administrative support and the opportunity to work alongside an established clinical team.
Our office is located in the heart of downtown Montréal, right in the McGill REM and metro station building.
What We Offer

- Regular, individualized clinical supervision provided by licensed psychologists registered with the OPQ, including opportunities for peer consultation and free ongoing supervision.

- Support with case conceptualization, treatment planning, and documentation standards expected by the OPQ.
- Hands-on experience delivering cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and related evidence-based approaches.
- Cases and Coffee: a monthly gathering with other psychotherapists and psychologists to talk about cases and get to know one another.
Who We're Looking For
- Candidates who have received a decision from the OPQ requiring an internship.
- Strong clinical foundations, particularly in CBT or related therapeutic approaches.
- Ability to conduct psychotherapy in French, ability to understand English.
- Comfort working in French and English.
- A genuine interest in long-term collaboration with PsyMontréal.

Next Steps
Once accepted, you'll be paired with a designated supervisor who will meet with you regularly to review your cases, support your clinical development, and help you fulfill the requirements set out in your OPQ equivalency.
